Hi there, please
let me introduce myself.
My name is
Tony Smith, My stage name? Grandpa.T Smith.
I had to change my
name owing to equity, They already had a Tony Smith on there books so that is
how Grandpa.T Smith came about, not like a lot of people thought and that
was that I had become a Grandad, wellI am a grandad 6 times over, I also have 3
step grandchildren, and wait for it, I am a GREAT GRANDAD too, to a little girl,
by the name of Maddison.
I have been in
Country for many years, mainly with my band "Madison County". So no
surprise if you're saying to yourself, "Who on earth is Tony Smith?" (Grandpa.T
Smith)
Well I just
used my own name, did not want anything fancy. You don't have to have a fancy name to sing
good old country music. My range of songs that I perform are from the very old
Country classics to the present day Country Songs. I also perform songs from
40s, 50s, 60s, etc if you require me to. I play for dancing, listening, sing a
long or anything else you could want me to sing for.
Since turning solo
after my heart do, I have been to Nashville and record two albums of which I am really proud. I
have recorded two albums back here in the UK in my own little recording
studio, and a further 2 at the Fairview Studios at North Cave near Hull. All the albums are featured on this site so take a look at what I have
recorded you can even play a little of them to see what they are like. If you
would like to order any of my albums just give me a call or e-mail me and I will
gladly post them on to you.
I will go anywhere
to sing country music, It has been my life, as you will see from my Gig Guide.
Nowhere is too far to go, no gig too lage or too small So if you want to book me for a
Gig I will be more than happy to come to you to entertain you with the best
Country Songs.
